This watch is the result of combining a large dose of daring in terms of design with a personal challenge between Maria Pascual and the designer Axier Espinosa.
The timepiece was inspired by a ring from the Maria Pascual collection.
Its polished gold and steel-plated case is 36mm wide, 43mm from edge to edge of the lugs and 9.8mm thick, an ideal size for a watch reminiscent of the robustness of 80s watches. The crown does not go unnoticed thanks to its large dimensions and diamond-like aesthetics. The bezel is fixed, with a polished gold finish. Visible through the mineral glass that closes the front is the dial with its striking moon-phase window at 6 o'clock.
It is on the pearly white dial that we find its purpose. At first glance, the dial is clean, tidy and highly legible. At 12 o'clock, the Maria Pascual logo is displayed, accompanied by eleven raised, elongated hour-markers and twelve white zircons, giving the dial aesthetic continuity. The hands are of the pencil type with blue luminescence. Like the fittings, the hands are also finished in gold. Both the name of the brand and the model are screen-printed. At 6 o'clock we can find the striking window that shows the moon phase and indicates the quartz machinery hidden inside.
Its calibre comes from Japan. It is a quartz Miyota with moon phase. A movement known for its precision and reliability.
As a last detail, it is worth mentioning the nylon strap that equips this MoonPhase, with the famous Perlon interlacing and presented in black chalk. It is accompanied by a hand-stitched gold-plated buckle, where the brand is inscribed.
