There is always time to incorporate new and healthy routines or new resolutions. We as you know, every time Maria Pascual comes up with a design full of inspiration we launch it, no matter if it coincides with a change of season. We already talked some time ago about the importance of exercise, and today we want to share some tips with you so you can feel good.
Exercise, in any form
I don’t need to elaborate on the physical and mental benefits of exercise. We all know it, the problem is that sometimes it gets left on the to-do list. As we do not consider it super important, it stays on that list for ever and ever.
The why and what for
Burn it into your heart or in our “Moon Bangle“, besides, this concept is applicable to any decision you are going to make. The why you do it will remind you every day the reason that pushes you to do it and what for, what you want to achieve. It may be because you need to gain or lose weight, gain muscle, relieve back pain from so many hours at the computer, to have some time for yourself because after exercising and taking a shower you know it was worth it. Whatever it is, find your reason and stick to it.
Types of exercise
First, let’s point out that we often have in our heads the idea of exercise with sweat, I can’t do it anymore, I’m going to die, or I’ll break in two. Let’s see, if you train at a professional level, surely you need to push your body to those limits to move forward, but if this is not your case, nor mine either, it will be enough to make a little effort without feeling that you are going to die in the attempt. If after exercising you spend two bad days without being able to move… Bad, terrible, loosen up, or you will throw in the towel before you want to.
Aerobic exercise; also known as cardio. This type of exercise, increases your heart rate, makes you sweat and breathe fast. Among it can be Zumba, Spinning, machines.
Flexibility exercise; in this group, the best known are yoga, tai chi and Pilates.
A combo; another way to do exercise combining both is to choose a modality that is also fun for you. For example, dance. If you like dancing, sign up for salsa, bachata or hip hop classes.
Nowadays, most centers offer a trial class so try several options. If you prefer to do it from home, get an app that also offers trial weeks.
Tips for exercising
Start now, even if it means doing 5 minutes a day of stretching on your own.
Once you have a clear modality, get an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and good.
Block out exercise time in your calendar each week and make it set in stone. If you think that writing in it “yoga class” will not have enough weight for something like: “important meeting” “health class”, whatever motivates you.
Before you start your class hydrate well, take a towel and a bottle of water with you.
Take off all jewelry, even if it is thin like “double stone bangle white“. Sweat can damage them, causing them to lose their luster early.
Be ready! Every move you make, even if it’s hard, remember that you’re doing it for you. For bone and muscle in your body.
Getting started may be hard, but it will be worth it.
